Squid is quick and easy to install. You can do it yourself or get one of our installers to do it for you. You don't need any professional equipment, and the installation won't damage your walls or interior.
To prepare for the installation, you first need to decide what to buy. Squid is available in rolls that are 130cm wide, so you just need to buy the right length (up to 15m). It can be installed without using any machines or hazardous products; you just need cleaning materials, a utility knife and a squeegee or ruler.
You install the window fabric in four stages: clean, stick, cut and press firmly. Simple, but it's important to do things in the right order. Are you not happy with it first time? No problem: unlike plastic window-covering film, you can reposition Squid several times during installation. At the end of the installation, press it firmly and your job is done. Make sure that you don't move the textile from that moment on. Would you prefer a professional installer to take care of it for you? Find a professional near you on our dealers page. They will do your Squid full justice.
You can easily cover small windows on your own, but it's better to work as a pair for larger windows. You can install Squid on large windows with almost no visible joins – as long as you work with enough patience and precision! See the instructional video and a detailed step-by-step plan on the installation page.
